We want our houses/apartments/homes to be clean and we want to exert the least amount of effort possible to do it.
So how exactly do you do that?
I would love to know your tips and tricks to housecleaning using the least amount of energy possible.
Leave me a comment on here or on my Facebook page with your best cleaning tip.
I'll compile them all together and post it for you next week.
There's no point in keeping great wisdom to ourselves, is there?
I'm participating in a Group Writing Project through the Problogger site. Feel free to go check out other discussion posts as well.
I like to put a lemon down the disposal to clean it and to make the kitchen smell good.
ReplyDeleteI found you on problogger Discussion Post. I am participating too.
Great idea! I'll have to try that one. Thanks for participating.
DeleteI clean in small amounts :) 5-10 min daily and then it does not add up to become a dreadful chore on Saturday. That's my best tip!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. I hate having a big cleaning day. Little chores here and there are a much better idea.
DeleteI tried the "one room per day", but after a while I just dropped it, so now once a week we clean up floors and bathroom, and we try to keep up things daily (like, wiping down the kitchen after cooking, making bed, organizing laundry).
ReplyDeleteSplitting chorse and doing little by little seems to help...
Except those days when the cat decides to make a huge mess... :D
It's those daily, all-the-time chores that seem to do me in. The dishes and laundry never end...
DeleteCathy,
ReplyDeletecleaning is one thing that is never ending and sometimes boring. I actually take up cleaning one room at a time and clean thoroughly. when I have guests at hoe(which happens often) I clean all the rooms at a go and after they leave too, thus my house is clean most of the times.
Sounds like your really on top of things. Way to go!
