Fall is finally here

This summer and early Fall has been unusually warm.  I feel like this week - the first week in November - is the first week it has truly felt like Fall.

And, as if to prove my point, two new flowers bloomed in my yard last week!!  I don't think I've ever had flowers bloom this late in the season.  I was so excited!

But I also knew that nightly frost was going to come soon.  So I cut the flowers and put them in a vase.  Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy them longer this way.
